So how long did that take? You know the other day when I said the Airport Express was really great (enjoying it now) except that you can only stream audio from iTunes and not DVDs? Well, that hack didn’t take long. Of course I won’t use it as it may be illegal. Also, the hack’s not available for the Mac yet (…and counting). Will speak for food: On Thursday, August 26, the nice folks at the Magazine Association of the Southeast have invited me to speak at their breakfast meeting in Atlanta. All the information can be found on their website like, for instance, in addition to a great breakfast and my presentation, you get free parking. As it will be a few days after I return from a family vacation, I am sure I will have several slides to share with the group. That was a joke, of course. Actually, what I’ll be presenting is my review of the performance in Athens of the US Olympic softball team.

giant mag I agree: Thank you to the rexblog reader who e-mailed me to say he preferred my earlier prototype logo (left) better than the real thing. Actually, I think the magazine should be called “Shannon,” the name it was dubbed during its development stage. However, there is at least one rexblog reader who is quite happy a magazine associated with Wal-Mart will not desecrate her name.
